Harry shuffled sleepily down the corridor, rubbing his eyes with his palms. It wasn't unusual for him to be called to the headmaster's office, at least not this term, as he had gone several times for special one-on-one lessons, mostly dealing with pensive memories concerning Lord Voldemort. But this was the first time he had been called so early in the morning. The sun wasn't above the horizon yet, though a few streaks of morning rays were now punching through the highland clouds. Harry yawned and nearly ran face first into the gargoyle that guarded the stairway to Dumbledore's office.
